Any issue with Wavestate native and Korg Keystage?

Post by papyrus100 »

:(

I bought a good MIDI controller, the Korg Keystage.

First things first. I do not see any subject about the Korg Keystage, but I have an issue with the Keystage, and Wavestate native.

Am I in the right place? If not, please let me know the right forum.

In any case, in Wavestate native, my Keystage MIDI controller is not reacting to any knobs for the performance knobs.

We are seeing the text in the display, thanks to MIDI 2.0, but the knob on the Keystage is not mapped correctly OR does not react?

Anybody has any ideas what is wrong? I have searched and found nothing out of ordinary, and everything seems to be mapped correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Have a great day!

I too bought a Keystage and finding Wavestate not responding to poly aftertouch. I need to investigate more but will see if I can replicate your issue.
I have a question about midi on this board so would be good to see a dedicated thread for Keystage.

Similar problem to OP.

My Keystage Sub Display knobs are incorrectly mapped to Wavestate Native, both in standalone mode and with daw's (Logic and Live).

For instance, the first knob should control Performance/Master but instead acts on the knob 6 parameter which is Gate time. 2nd and 3rd knobs act on 7 and 8, and 4th does nothing.

It integrates with Live better than it's own soft synth!

Wavestate Native now updated to V1.3.6

Knobs are now correctly mapped in standalone mode for me.

I have two questions on this:
- Can WaveState native send audio over USB to Keystage, so that you can connect headphones to it to listen to the music?
- What’s the best solution for emulating the joystick of a hardware WaveState?

Yes, the Keystage has an audio interface and headphones and line out. No idea about replicating the joystick.
