Can anyone help me here. A long shot perhaps.

I use Cubase as my DAW/external sequencer. I would like to be able to open a patch in the Oasys AND for each timbre to open its separate channel/instance in Cubase, so I can manipulate each timbre there as opposed to doing it in the Oasys. I expect there will be a bit of fiddling about in the O. I saw a video where it can be done in the Kronos with a usb connection but the O will not be so simple.

Can anyone point me in a direction so I can take this further?
Patrick

Possibly using something like a Roland UM-One Mk2 to connect between a computer's USB port and Oasys' MIDI DIN ports. Cubase would need to be pointed at the USB to MIDI inteface. The Oasys won't show up in the MIDI devices list in Cubase. The Oasys' USB ports are really only for external storage devices, and were not designed to pass MIDI over USB.
