I always stand up to play synths and stuff. But yeah, strangely when I played piano (can't remember the last time, although we had one for many years at home) it was on a seat.

I think the way my kbd stand is set up, it's just a little too high for playing on a seat and seeing the touchscreen etc..

I always stand while onstage, and sit down in the Studio or at home.

Regards.
Sharp.

On a live gig, standing up makes the day for me because I just have to move to the "magic" that the players around me produce. Can`t help myself and I find a connection to the audience that works better when you`re upright. In my HUMBLE studio, I usually sit because it`s more pragmatic.

Hi Lorenzo,

I was a classical pianist...I always sat, even in the few rock gigs I played...For me the control is much better... Cool Surprised ...

I sometimes stand for live performance, but prefer to sit, particularly when playing technically challenging material.

Exactly, although I no longer play live, apart from the odd gathering of friends. So sitting down for me.

most of the time in a pub session we would not be able to stand by the end of the evening, so we always played sitting down.
until you fell off the chair that is. Laughing
