We went and caught Styx last night. What an amazing band. If you ever get the chance, go see them. You won't be disappointed. Vocals are almost always right on and not an auto tune anywhere! _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

Yup and really going strong! Larry Gowan has been with them for 17 years now. James Young just turned 67. They rock out like nobody's business and the vocals are just freaking amazing. Tommy Shaw sings so well it astonishes me. It seemed like every song had new guitars. The keys sounded perfect! They even did an "off the scale good" version of "I Am the Walrus"!
We were blown away! _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

I'm pretty jealous
Just had a look and they don't seem to be coming to Europe. |

They usually take some time off in the early New Year. I've noticed this seems to be a pattern. They come to Casino Rama in Ontario in the middle of every November. Throughout December the start to slow the tour down and in January they take some time off. Maybe in the spring they'll go to Europe.
Hmmm. I just checked out the schedule and they are playing in January this year. SO much for what I know! _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!
