|
|
Being a Korg arranger user for the last two years, i found the following things not user friendly which i would like to bring to the notice of Korg to fix if possible.
When we load an external korg style or performance, the internal system will not let the new stuff play well owing to the reason that the internal resources mapping is done to the page numbers of sound/drumkits locations rather than the names or similar sounds/drum kits. This way, it leads to the wrong mapping of the resources when a performance of other similar keyboard is loaded into our keyboard and try to play it. The performance brings up the pages to the UP1, UP2, UP3 sounds rather than the similar sounds/sampled tones. So the performance will sound weird. Similar is the case with the styles, the mapping of the pages brings up wrong drum kits in to the style locations and start to play weird.
Instead, if korg rewrites the OS with the mapping of the elements basing on the sampled tones, or drum kits, the performances/styles loaded from the other board into our board would sound perfectly well.
How many of you agree with me? _________________ I Love Music |

option to remap automatically or by selecting manually by name( or unique id) would be great.
I agree with your suggestion .
Korg should promote easy sharing/editing of styles. _________________ Kronos x 61, Korg PA-700 ,Korg Wavedrum Global, macbook pro , logic x,M-audio bx5, |
