man i hope they don't go under! at least hope it doesn't affect in the u.s. it's my fav beer, but ONLY on tap!
i heard... and i don't know if this is true or not, but have heard it a few times in different states from different people and bartenders...
apparently they were struggling in the beginning... lack of sales. then after awhile their sales bombarded.
they matched the sales increse to the cause of RATS getting into the beer brewing things... whatever they are called... the rats were in the beer!
when they fixed the rat problem... they noticed a TOTAL different taste and wasn't nearly as good! and their customers agreed although they didn't know why in the beginning.
so.. therfore led to adding animal products including blood.
i've heard it before.. i don't have any links right at hand to show it... but apparently some companies add animal products. there's a list of vegan beers out there.
give me a bit... i'll find it eventualy soon. |
