Jon,
Chris did all the singing, and this is interesting, because I love that part.
The lyrics were written for his 30 year old son, who suffers with alcohol addiction, and my interpretation of that part, was that he just needed to drive that point home, so to say.
Just a guess really, I didn't ask him why, I liked it, and so I didn't feel the need to ask that question.
Sorry if it bothers you, maybe another couple of voices would have been better, then again, heaven forbid that I start thinking of the perfect scenerio for this one, I'd want a real drummer, some professional backup singers, someone better than me to do the recording, etc.

Hi Stephen
Was about to listen to your June song, when I realised I hadn't listened to your MAY song yet....phew....trying to catch up with my life here at the moment.
This is a really good song and all sounds really excellent production-wise to me. I love the guitar solo! I learn so much from your songs because you are such a good songwriter and musician. Everything just 'fits' and 'flows'.
Will listen again now
