DEAR PAOLO- for things for easy work.

Hi Nikola,
You can do this already.
If you save the song in the songbook, you can "link" a text file (on the seond edit tab).
You can also assign the PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN function to either an EC5 pedal switch or one of the assignable switches and scroll the pages of the text file that way.
SONGBOOK-BOOK EDIT 2 at the top right you will see the tab BROWSE press this and then navigate to the folder the text file is in, select it and then save the Songbook entry, and then you have your song, complete with lyrics ready to play.
Cheers
Dennis

Another Suggestion for-
Arranging the LIST in Song book-
We do not have a way to choose what LIST will show up and what will show down, in the showing of the entire list that we have,
Its can be easy for work if we can arrange the lists at the way we want with out to be limited about the name of them. [Or time of making them].

Another Suggestion for-
-VOICE PROCESSOR PRESET –SUBJECT.
GLOBAL>MENU>VOICE PROCESSOR PRESET>HARMONY>HARMONY MODE-shift
GLOBAL>MENU>VOICE PROCESSOR PRESET>PRESET>MASTER ON\OFF>LEAD-on, HARMONY-on.
In SHIFT mode the OPTION that I can hear the Harmony with me is just missing,
You can here only you, or only the genders of the harmony, but not you and the genders together.
And I can not use SCALIC MODE and CHORD MODE, for that,
Because they are DIATONIC, and I need the preset to be CHROMATIC and to have the "voicing" to be setup in kind of –"0" [or +1\-1].
It will be good if we have in SHIFT MODE- the OPTION that you can here the Harmony with you [-when the "harmony" button is on, and the "lead" button is on], and like in SCALIC MODE and CHORD MODE.
THANKS.

Another Suggestion for-
IMPORTING MIDI TO A STYLE- SUBJECT.
DELETE AND FIX BY ME.
[To make second option for saving midi- A way to save MIDI "0" ON THE KB.]-WAS DELETED.
The PA does not keep the sounds of the midi and you need to setup them again. [when it is an existing style with specific sounds in it and you import to it a midi]
It will make easy way for working with making styles, when importing the tracks from midi, to have the ability to import a GM2 midi to a style and all the parameters\controllers will still be there like in the midi it self, and not only the usual option that the tracks get the setup of the sounds in the style that they are imported to it.

Another suggestion-
NEW Assignable function for GLOBAL>CONTROLLERS>Pedal, EC5 –subject.
To have the ability in the Assignable function list-for-
"Sound UP\DOWN" -IN the 3UP, [INSIDE every STS that was chooses],
Not only the existing "sound up\down" option that is working in the sound select banks, I'm speaking here about UP\DOWN in the 3UP IN EVERY STS.
PA800-GLOBAL>Audio setup>Speakers On\Off
To have it in a pedal\EC5, MUTE THE SPEAKERS.
OR- better then that, to have the ON\OFF option on the top screen.

Another Suggestion for-
Working with General midi, in style mode, and midi files with sequencer,
And- a suggestion about the showing of the names of the sounds in the "sound select" banks.
There are a lot of times that even that the RX sounds are amazing, we need to use the GM sounds to have the ability to use the midi file, or the style when using it with midi out on outside sequencer.
And here came a lot of work to change the entire instrument in the midi or the style, to be a GM sounds.
It a lot of work! And it was easier if was an ability to have a "GM CONVERT", for the style or the MIDI file. [Ability- in style mode, and in sequencer mode].
And if KORG can make it even better- they can give an ability to control the convert procedure by giving an option to make a "user model" for the convert.
Meaning- that not only that the sounds will change to the same kind of sound in GM, but you can set up a model before that, to what instrument it will be change to, even if it is not the same family.
For example- if the standard converts to GM, will change the truck 13 with the "Nylon GTR RX1", to sound of "Nylon GTR GM",
With the user model the truck 13 can be setup for changing to a "Distortion GTR GM" or even "Grand piano" that is in a different family of bank of sounds.
And the idea of "user models" for convert, can be use not only for GM sounds, it can have an easy way for us to convert the style or the midi, in one step of change to the kind of music that we use to play.
With this ability, we even can make a standard model for our kind of music, in easy way, and just convert the style, and have a style with acoustic band, or Latin band, or any kind that we want.
A complete control of the instruments, in a simple procedure of a few "user model" setup, IN EASY WAY, with out the need to change every style or midi, every time again and again, double 8\or16 trucks. [-working in a LONG way].
And minor changes after the "user model" convert, we always can do if needed.
In the same subject- in particular if KORG will not give this options, it was very useful to have the ability to display the names in "Sounds select", in the banks of them, in other few ways of-
"Sort by- GM sound first",
"Sort by-RX sound first",
"Sort by-name",
"Sort by-type",-[meaning-when we are in guitar bank for example, to have all the "Nylon GTR", first and after it all the "steel GTR", and after it all the "Dist. GTR", and be continued in this way].
I will happy to have other member opinion about this idea, too.
Thanks.
KORG said- that the new operating system for the Pa2X Pro/Pa800 packed with exciting new features that will make you think it is a whole new keyboard.
For me- things like this suggestion can make me to think it is a new KB, and can be a real needy feature for easy work with professional arranger.

Another Suggestion for-
Making a "LOOP OPTION" in –SONG PLAY>lyrics & marks.
It is very useful when practice with a song, when playing the KB or playing with V-DRUMS with a part of a song, or for trying to compose a part of a band to a song or part of it.
It is easier way just to make a "loop" and to practice, with out the need to choose the marker again and again.

some of my suggestions:
-A loop fonction in the song mode(+1)and not only the position recall in song mode!
-EFFECT STRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT!!!!!
4 blocks are not as good today..we must have something like 2 global effects(reverb and chorus for example)..something like 5 independants inserts for multitimbral(for sequencer and styles)and some inserts(2 for example)for the perfomance sounds..
This is very important korg!!!
This really improve the global sound of the pa2x..because we always have to compromise with the 4 blocks in multitimbral mode..(this will completly change the midifiles and style sounding...)
And korg don't improve the effect structure like so many years...
Please..please..please!
-some global mixing recall!!
When giggin,it's not so easy to mute or soloing betwwen tracks..in my old tyros 2,i had 8 buttons to recall in 1 touch for 1 song or 1 style all the keyboard configuration and mixing(the songbook function is ok to recall a song configuration, but when we need to change the mute from diverse parts in one touch,it's impossible..we have to move faders,to press the screen for each track..it's not not so easy like yamaha recall!)
Thanks
