I have a MicroKorg and just recently got a KingKorg. Obviously huge upgrade to the KK. I am wondering if it is possible to import some of my favorite MicroKorg patches into the KingKorg? Mostly so I don't have to bring both to gigs. I've never dabbled with the editor librarian software for either synth. |

They are both subtractive synths, so basic sounds (such as classic filter envelope over amp envelope) can be readily emulated, but no 3rd oscillator on the MicroKORG.
If you aren't an adept programmer, i recommend downloading the software editor for both that way you can more visually recreate the patch comparing similar parameters.

It’s been a little while since I’ve had a chance to use my kingkorg, but I’m pretty sure you ate incorrect on both of those restrictions. Maybe you have an older revision of the firmware |
