|

Hello,
I did read the manual and previous posts and scoured the web but still am confused about this... I've been trying to get clarity on this as it appears that the Triton Taktile 25 only has Midi OUT.
Is it possible to use the Triton Taktile as a sound module and accept Midi IN?? If so, can it be done via the MIDI port or do you have to do it via USB and a Computer/DAW setup?
My goal would be to couple the Triton Taktile as a sound module (TRITON sounds yay!) with a larger Yamaha Piaggero keybed.
Thanks in advance!!

The manual and parameter guide are both rather poor in explaining this. The direct MIDI port is MIDI out only, so other MIDI devices can be controlled using this port, but the Triton Taktile cannot be controlled via this port. For the Triton Taktile to respond to external MIDI commands, it is necessary to use the USB connection to a PC or Mac, but don't try this until the correct USB MIDI drivers have been installed.
