Seeing as the Grey Electribe has a well established thread where people can post their tracks, i thought i'd start one for the black/hacked sampler version. Doesn't matter what the genre is, all styles are welcome...

Here is one from me. A pattern chain captured by the Event Recorder, then recorded as audio into Auria on the ipad. A little mix compression/limiting.

Don't be shy now people, post 'em for all to hear...

Hi everyone !
Almost 4 Weeks with no internet access, so I have a few tracks to let you hear if you please.

The only track I made with external samples. A kind of little tribute to Bauhaus :
https://soundcloud.com/pi-cab-alter/usure

Made with e2 + e2s + LS-11 recorder. Only one pattern used on both machines.

I won't post often here as I use more and more the e2s for resampling beats when needed and as final mix/FX for e2.

Been meaning to post a track for a while. Made of my own samples and a couple of samples from a friend's tune. This was performed on the E2S and fed into a Mini Kaoss Pad 2S for some extra effects. It was a longer jam that I edited down to its current length and then mastered it in Ableton. Hope you guys enjoy.

That's an amazing tribute to Bauhaus and I'm happy you went for a genre of music that isn't an obvious choice for a sampler to make! How did you actually get it to sound that crunchy?

I really like the drum work. The repeating vocal sample and squishy breaks remind me of early Meat Beat Manifesto.

I love it. I hear the Bauhaus influence for sure. Once the pluck-synths come in the track is very complete.

I am a sucker for some future garage, so this is right up my alley. Very pro sound.

Great crunch!!

Thunderbolt falling nearby made some electrical/phone-line dammages in the neighbourhood.

Thanks for listening, and nice commentaries.
Track structure and drums (made on e2) are "Mask"-like.
Just 3 samples : Bass line is from "Third Uncle". Looping guitar is taken to "In the Night". I stole the "Double Dare" guitar. Minimum pc use, slowing and fx in the e2s.
Everything else (if I remember well, lost my save...) is coming from e2, so maybe it wasn't the right topic to post this track.

I fed my electribe sampler some acid from my TB-3, some bleeps from my ER-1 and an Amen break. Stirred it all up and out shat this...

Here is an EBM / electro industrial instrumental, my first finished track:

https://soundcloud.com/stahlwerk/loiter

Electribe sampler only, but with some compression and limiting in the DAW.

Comming from the OP1, It really feels quite similar to how I work with the OP-1 (when doing pattern/loop based stuff), but with more flexibility. Event recorder has a similar "feel" to recording to album.

I used 12 parts, of which one was the NASA sample only heard at start and end, and two were alternative kick drum tracks, and still I started getting voice stealing (mitigated by setting part priority high), and I could not add a further track without getting noticeable artifacts all over... Sad

I used the event recorder, and afterwards recorded to computer, but I was too lazy to go grab my audio interface, so I just used the line in on the computer... It would be great if you could "render" an event recording directly to audio on the SD, so you don't have to worry about recording quality.

Another one from me. I used some of the built-in synth waves for the first time. Oh man, if only the black and the grey were combined so that the functionality of both were available AT THE SAME TIME...

Enjoy...
