Don't, it's only really suited for Guitarists who don't care about the fact the system is Mono. Your Pa900 produces a stereo sound. It will always sound best when listened to in stereo.

Listening in Mono really doesn't make any sense.

The headphone socket is for headphones. The Main Outputs L+R on the back are for connecting your Pa900 is external speakers / amps.

Regards
Sharp.

..I also use a Tyros 4 and over on the 'rival' PSR Tutorial Forum many of the 'Yammy giggers' swear by the L1c.... ?
Would it be better with TWO little (8 or 10 inch bass) active speakers like JBL's or similar ??
Want small and lightweight...that's why Bose was first on my list...

..just to say..I finally decided to purchase the Bose L1c..arrived today and must say I'm really impressed. Stereo piano IS A BIT LACKING but overall the clean sound and balance is amazing. Did a bit of 'equalization' on my PA900 to get a full rounded sound and cam't wait to do a 'live' gig next week... should be great... well done Bose...

I got into it a little with Bose. Modern keyboards should be stereo, but they disagree - whatever.

I used these things right when they came out and they were not good. There was a pronounced midrange peak and it was very bad.

However, I have been using the later versions and it's better. I use the one with a subwoofer and it's decent.

I still think modern keyboards should be in stereo when they have stereo samples and effects.

.....after using the Bose L1c on a few gigs (50+ people) I too noticed the lack of 'something'....particularly the piano...which I use about 70% as my lead instrument.... definitely something missing....?
I ordered a HK Nano 300 (stereo) system on a 7 day trial return...and 'wow' ...what a difference.... The piano came to life...
Have now sold the Bose and and very satisfied with the Nano...
