I had the same problem hooking my E2 as master for another rm1x. |
Of course all of this could be avoided if the E2 operated like a normal sequencer. _________________ Visit https://ghostwrittenclips.com for a FREE pack of robot-war/mech/cinematic fx samples. =) |

The only way I've worked out so far is to run the midi clock from my KP3+ from the midi thru, as that doesn't send note data in normal modes. |

This would be a perfect solution if I wasn't sequencing 4 other external synths from the e2. _________________ 01/WFD - M3 - MS-20 - Volca Bass - Volca Beats - Volca Keys - electribe emx2 - Monotron - KP3+ - iPad with too many Korg apps

Also, Pattern changes can be recorded into the Daw, chopped and rearranged to send back out for sequencing patterns.
Bank Changes use MSB/LSB and are sent on the auto channel.
If you are messing with this stuff do yourself a favor and hook up midi-ox or some other midi monitoring software so you can see whats going on behind the scenes. |
Thanks for this reminder to use Midi Monitoring! When I get Ableton to change patterns so I can have new sets of sounds per 16 channels, Imo be real happy |
