Wireless Midi - Panda Midi?

Post by studio429 »

Just wondered if anyone on here had experience of the Panda Midi wireless receiver and transmitter? I have a Kronos 88 but occasionally get out front with my Alesis Vortex or Roland AX7 keytars, but always restricted by the length of cable. I just wondered if anyone else had experience, and whether they are as good as they claim.

Many thanks!

The saxophone/EWI player of my band swears by the MidiJet and says it's the only reliable one. I have no personal experience with any of them.

I purchased the panda midi product for my RK100s. I was sceptical at first because of the lower pricing. It is amazing and works flawlessly. I have used it without any problems. It is a true plug and play item. The range is amazing as well. I can go outside at a gig and walk around the parking lot and still hear myself play. It is advertised at 300ft I believe and they were not kidding. I highly recommend this product👍🏻

Thanks for the feedback folks. Will investigate both of these further.

Coltsfan - I bought the Panda in the end. Looking forward to delivery and so I can try it out on some of our December function shows. Do you use the micro USB into the back of the Kronos to power it or do you have a USB mains power supply?
