That's all?? I still haven't even updated to 1.17. This one is even...worse.

Oh well, at least the updates seem to be coming more frequently. Hopefully next month will bring something with actual substance.

I reckon, the screen light dimming caused the buzzing hence the absence of light now.

Not sure what they've done to affect the audio thru but it seems quieter!!

it must be a joke ... it's worse!
I did the update quickly, very enthusiastic of this improvement (because this is a real problem for me)
but what a disappointment!

The "new" noise is ugliest than the old one! (Electribe 2 sampler)
Shocked
Mad
Crying or Very sad

(and the screen is turned off completely in power save mode now .. Sad )

Hello here,

I'm kind new on this forum, but I have the electribe since the beginning it was released ...

I've done this update one hour ago, and I get my first issue with the new software update 1.18 ...

Master Effect doesn't last the time I let my finger on the trackpad. Just few seconds but that's all ... before, the effect lasted as long as I let my finger on the trackpad ... And when I enable the MFX Hold button, no Master Effect at all ... WTF!!!???!!! How I can directly report this to Korg, can I downgrade the firmware???

The S/N of my unit is 001897

Thanks for the help!

Cedric from Belgium

Oh no, this is really bad. Have you tried the new Kaoss Pad calibration page? It is a new feature and I believe you need to calibrate your XY pad every time you do an update.

Please try and report your findings!

Ok guys,

I've done the XY calibration as said, and then reboot, and same thing :/

I checked with an other pattern, and it seems to work fine ... That's weird ... I'm playing on the pattern nr 137 and it was one of the factory default pattern ... I've re-initiallized the pattern ... and the Master Effect seems to work differently than with the other patterns ... could you understand that???

It seems that I have to avoid that pattern number 137 haha

Laughing

Thanks for the help anyway guys!

Cheers,

Cedric

Alright, I think we've found the issue.

You need to clear motion sequence for that part. Actually just clear all of your patterns of motion sequence.
