Anyone see this? Looks like it would pair well with the electribes.

I bet it's priced just above MicroKorg XL+ range.

Would be great. Cheap poly analog synth with lots of modulation types. I would def buy one.

Looks like it has inherited the terrible plastic knobs from the E2/E2S!

That's it. I require this synth in order to be a human being.

Full 1:1 control, analog, poly, delay, patch memory, oscilloscope. Wow!

The Arp Odyssey is rumored to be getting a lower price at the same time this launches.

I suppose Arps built quality is much better than miniloque. However it's duophonic vs 4 note polyphony and does not have cross and ring mods. And sequencer of course. Therefore minilogue is more attractive to me. Before purchasing I would like to know more specs like what is the filter type? Is it korgs 700 as in volcas or something better like ms20 type?

Maybe it's the 24db revision 3 filter from the Odyssey! That would be amazing, or some new 24db self-oscillating design.

But with these features, I don't even mind if it's one of the same old 12db classic Korg filters - those sound great.

This feels like the Monotribe synth section, going to eleven.

I keep reading that Monotribe sentiment, and don't get it. The architecture couldn't be more different. Is it the switches and buttons?

If there's a direct parallel, it feel like a small, analog King Korg. (Little clear OLED screen, polyphony, light color scheme, built-in effects.)

Monotribe was a 12db single oscillator ribbon synth paired with a little blippy drum machine. Simple single envelope. 2 wave shapes. Totally analog pots.

This seems to take their analog circuit experience from the MS-20/Odyssey and streamline it for a 4-voice, digitally controlled with patch memory, digital effects, probably digital LFO, ring mod, and envelopes too.

I'm sure that's all true. I have no idea. I just want it to be a Monotribe with more voices and features. What I want and what it is, are two different realities.

Though it seems, I'm not the only one who'd wish I was right and reality was wrong.

In my opinion boutique is just a toy compare to this. VA instead of analog engine, same 4 note polyphony, tiny unusable faders... Boutiques are great for fans of classic roland sound.

Ever since I got the Minilogue, my electribe has been relegated to drum and effects duty.

All-in-one just ain't no fun.
