Had to sell my Mother-32 to fund it, but it's worth it so far.

The sync jack cable works very well between the electribe and the minilogue.

Even the cardboard box is the same style as the new electribes. They're meant to be together!

Bloody hell, you sold the Moog?!?!

I administered a few sharp slaps to my face, sold my TB-3 and settled on a Volca Keys, which i'm very pleased with. But wait, what's that you say? A Volca FM!!! Surely you jest? Oh lordy...

Oh Yes, the Volca FM is extremely tempting, I have zero FM synths and had been considering the reface at one point...

I never have too much cash, so I tend to fund the next thing by selling the last thing in an endless money-losing upgrade cycle. So far, my electribe and my Bass Station II are breaking the longevity record.

The Moog was wonderful and had a great sound, but ultimately I'm not a eurorack guy, was never going to afford two or more Mothers - which is what you need to elevate it above typical monosynth use.

I'm pretty sure 90% of TB-3 units have had more than 1 owner by this point.

Yeah! I have the Minilogue and Electribe Sampler (ES2).
I can see already that the ES2 duties will shift to: beats/fx/samples/clock
The Minilogue is really impressive so far. Between my Minilogue, MS20Mini, Roland MC-307, EMU ProteusFX, DAW and VSTi's, my sound canvas is seemingly infinite. Does anyone have an opinion on the Roland MX-1 or does anyone know of a current performance/project studio mixer with anywhere near it's feature set/price point? Does Korg have anything in the works? As I recall, they had one of the better one's a few years back. Probably long in the tooth by now.

MX-1 is really cool, but it's lack of physical inputs limits how much you can use it with non-Aira gear. If you just want a smaller mixer, check out the new K-mix from KMI.

Please post some tracks or jam vids using them together!!
Imo the E2 is a really versatile drum machine so makes total sense that set up Smile

That Minilogue does look like a perfect match for the ES2. Reminds me that I need to spend some time with the Microkorg XL+ and ES2 and take advantage of the split function

K-Mix seems cool. It kinda has a Hasbro/FisherPrice/Crayola/Playschool look. At $579 vs $599 for the MX-1, it is a question of inputs versus features.
I can see myself enjoying the cool MX-1 features and finding workarounds for the shortage of inputs. K-Mix has plenty of I/O and looks to be a suitable audio interface, but I don't know...

funny I am currently considering fm for the same reasons and would like some of those classic vintage 80's sounds.

I was planning to sell my bass station2 which although well laid out has a tone that has not gelled with me. (it seems a bit cold and clean to me)

so am currently considering the reface dx or the minilogue; at the mo Im leaning towards the reface as the korg does seem to have similar clean and cold tones.

does anyone have any thoughts on the sound of the e2 vs the minilogue, both seem to have a clean sound, we know minilogue is real analogue as opposed to the e2's va but do people think the minilogue and e2 sound pallet overlap?

I realize the synth engine on the e2 is very scaled down but I would not describe either of them of super warm sounding; perhaps even the e2 may be slightly warmer of the two.
