One question about poliphony and "note consumption".
I have M50 73.

I understood from the manual that:

-- We can configure programs with 2 oscillators, and this halves the poliphony.
-- We can user stereo waves. Again, this halves the poliphony.
-- We can use crossfade velocity switch. Again, this halves the poliphony in the notes range that uses both waves.

What does that mean, in total: if I use two oscillators, each with stereo waves, and each with crossfade velocity switching, I will get 10 notes poliphony in a single program?

Yes. It's easy to quickly eat up the polophony.

Thank you.
But I need a quantitative answer, not qualitative.

I think your assumptions are correct. Up to 10 notes can be playing simultaneously before note stealing starts to occur. Note stealing can be quite subtle though, at times, due to the masking effect of the other sounds.

What type of sauce brings out the flavor of polyphony? Laughing
