There are 10 USER banks available. I suppose that is the same thing, but not certain. _________________ DonM |

Isn't the SD card just a removable portable storage device in general? I'd say it's probably just another method for backing up data... _________________ Sam

Sam, I think I'll stick one in there and find out, but I expect that you are right.
I've spent the day auditioning the PA4 Musikant styles and have found some gems for sure! _________________ DonM |

Out of interest what banks will the Musikant styles overwrite if you load them?
I have a few user style banks, sound banks sorted and need to know if I should back those up prior to auditioning the Musikant styles, talking of which are there modern styles within this collection or are they primarily ommpha German type styles _________________ Yamaha S90ES, Korg Triton Pro, EXB Moss, Roland XV5080, Korg EX8000, Korg Pa4x 76, Korg Kronos 88, Crumar MOJO, Logic Pro X, V Collection, Novation SL61,Vienna, Korg Pa4x , EC-5, Vienna, Arturia V Collection, Roland SC88 Pro, Roland D110, Alesis SR16, Alesis D4 |

I would load the MK styles one at a time. They are designed to overwrite your factory styles I believe. I had to Select where I wanted each style. You could probably load a bank at a time, but be sure to select USER bank, and not have your Factory Protect disabled.
I don't use oompha styles, and I was able to find at least a handful of styles so far that I will use. I had some of them from previous MK versions but these seem better tuned to the PA4X, as they should of course. Still more to look through. _________________ DonM |

Loading the MK styles does not necessarily overwrite the factory styles. If you load Bank 1 to User1, Bank2 to User2, Bank3 to user3, Bank4 to Fav1, upto Bank13 to Fav 10.
Save ALL as a SET, then restore your KB to a previous SET, which will get the User1-3, & Fav1-10 to a previous position.
Copy the MK set to a USB drive. Use DIRECT Access to play the style from the USB, just like the Yamaha KB, and you won't have to overwrite anything.
