Hello!

Imagine you play live and want to change a sound lets say from an organ to an arp synth during the song. Your favorite sounds all saved neatly in the FAV-section.

When you change the sound the organ cuts off immediately. Thats an awkward break.

Is there an update that makes the sound hold on (with a sustain pedal) while you choose the new sound?

I don't think so. I don't own a KingKORG. The Kronos has a feature for it called SST but afaik the Kronos is the only model with that feature.

Most synths cannot do what you're asking, especially not if they have built in FX processors. It was a loudly advertised feature of the Kronos that it can, in most cases. You'll need to adjust your playing, or perhaps if you can combine some sounds into an A/B layer you can switch them that way.

The KK cannot do this, and as pointed out above, this is a pretty darn rare feature.

What a great reason to buy a second keyboard!
