Cant see the point frankly, The black finish looks great to me and once this is stuck on might end up looking well tacky a devaluing a 3K product.

That's what I thought....
I reckon it would be a one-way decision - no going back and those remaining air bubbles etc.. plus the fact the the joystick area didn't cover neatly - hmmmmm
then there is its re-sale value..... a "$6,500-keyboard" with a large sticker on it???
I saw a Nord Stage recently that had been spray-painted black - the owner said that it looked more professional than the "red".
Each to his own I guess....

Then of course it beggars the question what about if you want to take it off for whatever reason what are you left with ???????? Missing letters who knows

Pete do you know how to unlock the 4x factory protection to edit style voices ?

Wether you like the looks of it or not.. Its a very professional way to do it.. Since you cant ruin the keyboard with it as its removable... And it looks like brand new...
Might be a great way to overhaul a damaged and scratched keyboard...and make it look brand new...
I think, i am seriously considering to do a black overhaul of my Tyros5 now, and order some wooden ends... So it matches the Kronos |

If you own a 4x (I do) then it is already just brand new so assume it doesn't need dollying up.
Personal choice if you like it then go for it but I don't so I won't i'd be more interested in improving it's guts

Yep - something else they "moved" - this time from Media mode to Global - but hey, the option is still there, just in a different place

Yes Pete its a real pain and it all took me by surprise I didnt dream for one minute not for the changes but more for the different lingo. Saving stuff is all different it was all so simple however I expect I will soon get used to it. Johnnie

Nice work, but ..... Would'nt it be easier to buy the Musikant version that is pretty close to the alum-grey color?
I love the "Black Beauty" version, but would like to have the Musikant inside it when/if a PA4x ever shows up to buy in the country where i live..
