I still cant figure out how to make pattern changes when using FLSTUDIO

can someone explain please.

I tried the midi out generator but it cannot this gives problems when using pattern 129 or above.

i just make a new project and i put in 2 midi out channels.
the first I set to send programc hanges on Bank 0/0
the second one i set to send them on BANK 0/1

(If i put only 1 midi out ,set to Bank 0/0, i get patternchanges from 1 to 127)

If i use the both and try to record or playback then the second midi out interferes with the first one....
cant use pattern 128 and above from electribe (always jumps to pattern 1 or 130)

I dont know how to add fl project file.

OK, im getting the expected results with both a single midi out and with the dashboard. I'm not sure why youd need two midi outs....

I'd post a screenshot but I guess this forum doesn't allow attachments only links.

anyway there are two spots for bank - 0 or 0 0 and program change would select programs 1-128,

bank - 1 or 0 1 and a program change should select 129-156.

I don't have an E2 so I cant test it on the E@ but it works on the ESX.

The prolem is that I cannot change the bank in automation.... so i am stuck with pattern 1 to 127

Thats why i tried adding a second midi out with the next bank for pattern 128 to 250. But this gives conlfict with the settings from the first midi out.

Ah ok. Let me see if I can figure something out.did you try dashboard instead of midi out?

So it seems FL studio can automate program changes but not bank selects. It was suggested to map a control to CC32 (bank select fine) but I can't get this to work either. So this seems a rather poor implementation on Image lines part. Perhaps if you request it in the support forum it can be addressed.

There sadly seems no solution for it at the moment other than manual changes.

Then I will do it in Ableton (it works there) ,but i dont like the interface.... and for every pattern i have to make a new clip with program change settings.... every time.
unless i set up 250 patterns in advance one time so i can select witch ones to use in every song.
