We just got a Pa4x after using Tyros.
On the Tyros, when you synchro start, the synchro turns off so that you can play your song and then stop the style and freely play chords without the style restarting.
On the Pa4x we are finding it frustrating that the Synchro Start stays latched on after you play a chord to start the style. This interferes at the end of our songs where we stop the style and just play chords.
Is it possible to change this functionality with a Pa4x? |

Hi Kizza42, as far as I know, there is no way to change/alter this functionality apart from manually pressing (i.e. Turning off) the synchro button again, after the style has started playing (which is a real pain!). Subsequently, on numerous occasions, I accidentally end up getting 'stops' where I don't want them.
I appreciate that others may work differently but personally, my preferred way of control, is to always start the song by using the synchro button and to end with either an ending or a footswitch that controls the 'stop' function. Unfortunately, even if the synchro function (enable/disable) is controllable by the ec5 (which I'm sure it is), that doesn't solve the issue for me, as it would still create another step (button push) to disable it (and I'd prefer to use/save the foot switches for other more important functionality).
I too find the way that it works to be a real pain and would welcome a new additional option in a future OS to be able to have the synchro unlatch after the first use.
FYI, my old/original korg arrangers (i2) always unlatched the synchro (after it had been used once) but for some strange reason the newer ones don't work this way.
Sorry that I can't offer a solution but at least I can confirm that you're not the only one who is finding this functionality annoying/frustrating.
Best wishes,

I agree that this would be a useful option to have. Perhaps Korg can add it in an upgrade. |

We need to add this to wish list.

@ Paolo , please pass this to developers team. _________________ Nemik
