And in case it's not there, I haven't read the list as I think it's futile, longer patterns, no voice stealing, more knobs like on emx1, read samples direct from SD card as Roland do or increase memory at least 10 fold, increase slots from 999 to 9,999, and bring back that matrix editor, that was far better than menu diving!
Price? I think around £700-£800 is fair. |

Dude this s**t's getting old. Why even bother to post in a topic you consider futile if it is just to spread negativity? Or was that an attempt at humour? |

Here is the break down (so far) of the votes from the on going top 5 feature vote:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=104700&sid=378b6f84a2fb800188ba9813ab074262
Features with 6 votes: 82
Features with 5 votes: 4
Features with 4 votes: 1 60 64
Features with 3 votes: 9 48 65 76
Features with 2 votes: 21 28 45 46 54 67 72 74 80
82 and 4 are the most popular.
With these alone we have 18 features! That's pretty good! _________________ Korg PX5d

What is the difference between 82.Add pattern-chaining and 1.Add song mode ?
we should not rather ask that there be no gap between the patterns instead?
because pattern switching is maybe the best function of these Electribe in my opinion (synchronized to the tempo and MIDI controllable via Program Changes)
but
what is the pertinency of a song mode if there is a gap between the patterns?
(unless this is understood with this feature...) |

To my understanding pattern chaining allows the user to loop multiple bars for example pattern 134,135,136,137 to all be chained you allow you technically have a 16 bar pattern whilst song mode allows you to predetermine what patterns comes after your current one however this is not loopable _________________ Microkorg, Radias, Mininova, Electribe sampler, kaossilator pro+, kaosspad mini 2, Koassilator 2, monotron, monotron duo, monotron delay, DX100, 2x krk rokit 5, MDX2200, FX2222 |

I am compiling the info, and also intending on producing a well-articulated and clear petition at Change.org _________________ My Gear:

Thanks for the breakdown, SMK. But your list doesn't seem to be done carefuly, sorry. F.e. request 17 and 30 are missing (3 and 4 votes)... anyway we need to count the votes at the end again.
Cade, in the poll many users are unsure, because the bugs still need to be voted? But there wasn't an answer from you until now (and that's the reason I still didn't vote). I expect the bugs (red issues) will be mentioned in the petition anyway, so no need to vote them in this poll, correctly? |

you absolutely right
as I already said I think the bugs have to be mentionned in addition of the feature requests
but, for example, do you consider the pattern gap as a bug too??.... |

Yes, of course I do! Maybe it's not a bug by definition, but it's something what absolutely interrupt a machine like this (also the "buggy" voicestealing).
And additional: Now, after almost everyone has voted and expected that the bugs (all issues which are colored red) don't need to be voted, we would have a different result if it has been communicated the other way.
As we could see from the polls before the bugs (like note cutoff, voicestealing...) has been voted very high, and this is good! But now many users wrote in the poll that they wish that the bugs will be in the petition anyway and didn't vote for it. Instead they vote for other "features". |

So is someone actually submitting this info directly to someone involved with the production of these machines? Korg doesn't moderate these forums, so posting something like this here is kind of like farting in the wind. _________________ Roland Juno-60, SH-101, TR-606, MC-505, Casio CZ-101, Yamaha DX100, DX11, Kawai R-50e // Korg R3, microSTATION, Monotribe, MS-20 Mini, SQ-1, minilogue, electribe sampler, Volca series: Bass, Keys, Beats, Sample, FM, Kick, Moog Theremin |
