This is very true! This kind of user based "upgrade" package trully give value to this product. (Possibly a big life expansion)
I'm just wondering is Korg is monitoring this forum/thread...
If a few individuals (albeit advanced techninician/engineers) can pull this kind of update off, it seems that Korg could very easily produce a "Kronos 3" without much effort that could trully make it the "king of the hill"...
They could even make it in the same principle that this tread describes it... A user upgrade package. Just open up the Kronos, change the motherboard, and "voila".
A really like this tread!
But at the same time, I'm wondering if Korg wont kill this tread on basis of "piracy" concerns... (This site is hosted on Korg owned servers ?) |
