Looks like they are now just trying to fix the hack and the workaround for the hack lock. 7 months later and there's not even the simplest of bug fix or feature that make people want to update. Last time they atleast covered their hushup version lock-in with pad calibration and some *audio-in mode and noise* issue.
It was: They implemented a check if the version number increased. Really cheap fix and ofc people found a workaround to that aswell by just increase the update version of the firmware each time you switch, so the machine thinks it's getting a new update.
Now Korg blocks that too. They are so desperate and getting really low here.
Well, I WAS happy with owning 1 machine that Korg refuses to fix and improve that could run either OS, but now that they locked the OS I suppose I'll buy 2 machines they refuse to fix or improve.
Fixed a bug related to “SOFTWARE UPDATE”...ahhhh okay.
Hmmmm maybe, just maybe, there is another update coming around the corner that is so huge that in order for it to install properly this minor update is needed to be installed first before "The Big One".
Downloading but not updating...just in case I'm right on that one. _________________ Korg PX5d
