|
|
Hello,
I recently bought a KORG EMX.
Its a realy cool machine and i totaly love it.
Im also a big Ableton fan and i try to combine those 2 awsome things!
What i want to achieve:
Sequencing my KORG in Ableton and using ableton effects on it.
Everything is working well so far.
My KORG is midi in to midi out on soundcard
TRS jack output is going into soundcard
External instrument is receiving my audio from korg and midi channel is assigned in the external instrument.
Then the problems start.
When i sequence my KORG everything plays.
It only plays clear when the gain CLOSED on external instrument.
The gain closed means also i cant use any effects on it.
When i increase my gain there comes a small delay on the audio and it dont sounds good, with the gain increased the effects also work...
Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?
I think i need to tweak something on the KORG but so far i didnt find how.
Large story small..
I need to connect KORG EMX to Ableton, sequence it in ableton and use effects on it, also still possibilty to use korg knobs etc.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH U WILL SOLVE MY HEADACHE

Are you by chance monitoring the direct audio input on your interface? This will cause a doubling of the sound as it plays direct through the interface and also gets monitored through the software. |
