I hadn't tried using the software editors before, but neither the free e2sEdit or the paid Sample Manager are loading the .all file I exported from my Electribe Sampler running 2.02.

Has anyone else had problems? Has there been some change that makes the .all files unreadable?

Hey es2, can you do us a solid and try this editor: https://github.com/JonathanTaquet/Oe2sSLE/releases

then report back. It's the best editor out there but now with the new 2.02 os we have no idea if it will work. Can you please download and try out. Thanks!

I'd be happy to but I can't see a Mac build - is it Windows only?

It's written in Python (a scripting language), and the source code is provided.
There's an interpreter for OS X:
https://www.python.org/downloads/mac-osx/

Should work.

If you haven't got another volunteer by Monday I can test it on my work computer, although I don't have admin access on it so if I need to install anything it probably won't work. If it's just a file I can run from a folder, though, then I'll give it a go.

Mate, I'm just a musician... I've no idea what you're talking about.

Sorry Poumtschak, I've downloaded the software from the link you posted and the sourcecode but have no idea how to make it work. There's a folder with a bunch of files and no matter which I choose it seems to be the wrong one. You may need a more tech savvy Mac user than I to help you on this one.

I completed a test, the ES2 Sampler Editor, Brakio's editor does open ES2 2.02 .allsample files. Someone on the FB group who has updated their Sampler to 2.02 made a new .allsample file for me to test. I tested it and it opened up for me in this amazing kick ass editor by Korg Forums user Brakio. I still think more tests should be made. but so far so good.

Never mind.
I managed to run the editor (Oe2sSLE_GUI.py) from the source code with the Python environment installed on my Wintel computer, but it requires a bit of fiddling (install pyaudio)

And since I don't have a Mac either, I don't want to mislead you.

An Update: it works.

I hadn't yet added any of my own samples, and thought I'd just export the factory samples as an .all file so I could get started using the editor.

The editor wouldn't read that file.

However, once I added some samples to the card and imported those into the sampler, and then exported a new .all file which included user samples, THEN the software would read it.

Weird, but happy it works.

Thanks to all those who tried to help!

In my side I did the same and it worked fine...
Do you have the log file of when it failed to open the factory samples? I would be interested if you could open a new issue on github and attach the log file with the e2sSample.all file!
