I`m looking for people who interested in this kind of sounds:
https://soundcloud.com/dmitry-yeryomin/sid-station-fx-demo
https://soundcloud.com/dmitry-yeryomin/sid-station-demo-1
https://soundcloud.com/dmitry-yeryomin/sid-station-demo-2

This is short demo of my upcoming library. If anybody need timbres like this - please pm me.

In my plans is full program bank with 128 different programs. Every program has lot of useful realtime controls for live performance.
Most programs has very complex sound, for example SID Station Demo 2 is only one program, without Karma.

Nice work Dmitry,

Thanks for posting these demos - really quirky and interesting. I look forward to hearing some more.

All the best,

Pete.

I love SID sounds. I used to compose lots of C64 style tunes back in the tracker days on 4 channels. it was sampled though, not the real thing. one name I must mention here - Jeroen Tel (if you're reading this - say something!). Very Happy

Sounds great!

Are these based on samples and the HD-1 engine, or using something like AL-1 with a decimator?

I'd be interested in such a bank.

This library created without any samples, only AL1 and MOD7 engines.

No samples... that's even more impressive.

It's only now that I've heard the demos, and albeit they sound great, it's not really SID, but sounds more like the NES chip (Nintendo).
the sound of the C64 SID is more in the vein of this (amazing) composition of JT:

not sure how this can be replicated in AL-1...
