Let's hope they did not improve this without me knowing and when looking at the petition I did not found it there either.

The thing is I Don't really like the Edit knob most of the time it seems like a useless knob.

Logically: Listen up Very Happy there is an option whenever ure in the edit modes of the parts u can scroll browse trough the parts parameters and see the options that are enabled or modified a certain way with the upper < > cursors it would be nice 2 select something then be able 2 edit it with the value knob, don't you guys think?

Some people (including myself) use the "edit" knob quite a bit and don't find it useless at all.

I guess I don't really understand your request. Are you suggesting we need additional modification of the part parameters? Confused

the features I want is

the ability to turn off quantise

and freely assignable mute groups

All my other requests have basically been mitigated by the very handy Open e2sSample.all Library Editor software.

Right on. Freely assignable mute groups is in 22.
Thinking about the quantization issue, and if 1/32 isn't enough, then "turn off quantization" possibly should be on there... Not sure if I should stick it with 16. (Nudge notes)
My only feature request: "more sample time" isn't on there, and never will be. Rolling Eyes

hold up did u say that in 2.02 u can select any pad to cut off any other pad?

far as more sample time they need to allow different bit rate samples to increase the sample time.

Oh I was referring to "request 22." On the petition.

One pad cutting off another pad? Like side-chaining?

nah not side chaining im talking about making mute groups with any group of pads, instead of just having the option for 13 & 14 cutting each other off and 15 & 16 cutting each other off.

and me, I would have liked there is a possibility of having multilayers samples ...
for example if the Electribe Sampler could read the .sf2 file format (soundfonts, like the Korg Triton allowed for example) it would have been awesome..
but it will never gonna happen Sad
we gonna stick with all these technical limitations
so all we can hope, is they improve a little bit the workflow, ergonomy...

Yeah I really want to get the Toraiz instead of the E2S but I also am going to be getting a Roland FA-06 which is going to compliment my E2 stuff insanely, so I can't justify getting both. Gonna be the FA and the E2S, and my arsenal will be sooooo solid.

the new electribes are simply garbage, I wouldn't recommend any one buy one. They're only good for people who know no better!

Korg will never sort them out and I reckon it's highly unlikely the petition will be successful. I use mine as a mere controller for soft synths! I don't see the point in wasting my time and energy on something with crap polyphony. I got a five part pattern going that's very clearly voice stealing!! f*ck*ng joke! And that's with ALL parts set to MONO!

Rolling Eyes give it a rest dude FFS. So you're saying that anyone who actually likes the new electribes doesn't know any better, and that your opinion is more valid than theirs? Are you counting folk like Mistabishi, Orbital and New Order as people who don't know any better?

You don't like it and that's fair enough, that's your opinion, but that's all it is, and it is no more valid or correct that anybody else's.

You'd rather waste it all on moaning on a forum instead? Why do you even come here?
