|
|
I am looking for how to send a drummer a click from a Combi or Program in my set list.
In searching the forums it appears to be possible but I can't figure out how to do it.
Simply, I want to map a tempo in a Combination or Program and send a midi click or audio click out to our drummer's drum machine (Midi Click) or headphones (Audio click). Can someone explain to me step by step how to do this so when I select a Patch in a Set List it will start sending a click?
Thanks in advance. |

Use the sampling rec switch (set trigger to sampling start)
but an alternate solution is :
Take a program, and set it's EG to be LFO triggered.
set LFO to tempo sync on quarter note.
in Exi set it to hold
route output of program to some other port like 3 and send that to the drummer.
another alternative could be to use a kama GE like the step sequencer. _________________ DX7-MOD-7 Patches | Korg Related Content

Maybe assigning a drum track to the program and outputting the drum track through a assignable output. You can program the drum track to suit the needs of your drummer.
The drum track will not start when switch presets in the Set List. You can program it to start when you hit a key or press the drum track button. |
