A year ago I bought a M3 module and I've been using it with an Alesis QS 7.1 as a MIDI controller. No issues. I have it linked to Presonus, Cantabile, the Focusrite Sapphire Pro 40 , everything playing nice. Along with that I am running a Kurzweil Pc3LE7 as a MIDI controller for pianoteq and Alchemy.
I finally scored a "complete" M3 73 for a decent price. I really wanted the keyboard itself and now I have it. I might sell the module itself that came with it to recoup my money + I don't think I need two modules side by side.
So I hook up my old M3 module to my new M3-73 keyboard and it's out of tune with my Kurzweil Pc3LE7 that I am running pianoteq on.. I go into Global settings and jack up the "tune" + 50 cents to 452.89 Hz
It's "barely" in tune....
Anyone know WTF could be going on here? _________________ M3, Radias R, Kurzweil PC3LE, EMU Proteus 1000, EMU Proteus 2000 (three of 'em) EMU Proteus 2500, , Alesis QS6, Alesis QS7.1 (2 of them, 'cause I use them as midi controllers and I prefer their keyboard action), MPK 61, love the buttons / sliders etc but not liking the action. I have had an M3 go out of tune due a defective joystick. Being slightly off it was sending pitch bend messages among other things. A MIDI monitor could verify this. Also if you have them connected with SPDIF the clocks should be 48kHz.
PS ... If you keep them both you can set them up to double the polyphony. |

Yeah ... set one to even notes and the other to odd. Not perfect double but it works out pretty good. Allocation is just midi odd/even. |
