Can't see that ,where is it?
I'm always on my mobile.

I think websiteee was talking to the Admin.

I spoke to someone about post reporting and the like, they assured me if it was an easy fix it would have happened by now, but they are working on it.

Spam here is more regular than other forums, yet not as much each hit. I don't know if they could put an approval system in place for new members, but they always suck and stop people from being able to join. I have an email account I used to use exclusively for forum memberships (so all spam from forum-spambot email harvesters goes there), but some forums with approval systems won't allow me to join with it. One forum I tried with 3 different addresses and finally after a week of email tennis using my business address to email support, the forum admin made me an account with my business name as my account handle, something I would have rather not had happened. Only a matter of time before the email harvesters come through there and swallow up that address, not to mention that a personal detail I had previously managed to keep out of the Internet's view is now here.....

tl;dr
It could be worse, but it also could be better.

Yeh I can live with it.

No problem Spheric El. I too hate adverts and it drives me up the wall to click on a new thread to find it's spam for gambling or dubious pharmaceuticals (or any number of other products sold by persons with no moral values). And as there is no way currently to flag posts for the mods to eyeball, I was actually quietly praising your good self for doing the spam reports here, perhaps the time is now to say:

THANK YOU SPHERIC EL FOR YOU EXCELLENT ATTENTIVENESS IN REPORTING SPAM!!! Wink

Wow, you mention it's a braindead member doing the deed and all of a sudden, *BAM* on this board.
It seems like it's become some form of trolling. Like a lame flooding attack; forum version of a ddos.

Yep - well he'll keep wasting his life and we'll keep deleting him
Not a problem for us - sad for him

Thanks for picking up spam - sometimes I miss it.

This board just got hit again.

I think last I actually had real spam from the can was in about 1997. Remember that jelly that used to form around it?
