|
|
Hi
I have calibrated my expression pedal with the SV1. It is function as it should - only when I use it as a volume pedal, i never get it to the full volume, it goes up to about 3/4 volume and no further.
Any ideas how I can rectify this?
Thanks

Not sure if this will work, but is probably worth trying. Find a small block of wood, or something like that, which can be put under the pedal to stop it going down full travel, maybe allowing the pedal to move down about three quarters of normal travel. Repeat the calibration with the block in position. Then try playing with the block removed.

There used to be a solution. http://music.ashbysolutions.com/misc.htm
There is a note at the bottom of the page that simply states what he did for these adapters. (I have 2)
"There was never any 'secret sauce' to the adapter: it simply swaps the Tip and Ring signals of the FC7. I cut the plug end off the first two FC7s I ever owned and re-soldered the wires to do the same thing."
Cheers.
