the ms20 mini is the only music machine i own. i use it to make all noises & drums. lately i've been watching modular synth videos & wondering if it was time to leap into complete modular synthesis! there are so many options- can anything compete with my ms20?

yes, there is a lot,
the whole modular synth world!
not necessarily compete,
more likely cooperate with your ms20 Smile

FYI the real MS20 is hertz versus the standard volts octaves control voltage...
so you need converter for eurorack and most modular systems...
unless you have cases of old obscure hertz modular gear...
you can somehow do the conversion for volts octaves with the ESP...
yet eye have enough other old analog hertz gear that personally never needed doing it...yea it's the traditional gateway for modular madness since 1978...

Here’s an example of the new Harvestman English Tear – a Eurorack module designed to make it easy to connect the Korg MS-20 Mini to Eurorack modules.

The module handles converting standard 1 V/Oct voltages to the MS-20’s Hz/Volt voltages and vice versa.

I've just been thinking about this again. I've been using my MS-20 a lot recently. I never did get into eurorack. Thanks for that link.
