Hello guys,
I am new here, but I succesfully own a couple of wavedrums. Today I got a gift - ancient Poly800 mk1. It was never used since 1998. As it turned out, currently the Poly doesn't work, just frozen with 1 50 01 digits on display, not reacting on buttons, without sound (just very silent 50 Hz hum).

Notice that someone made the backup battery mod for this mk1 version.

I started voltage measuring. Output of Q3 is about +4.5 V, but +5.0 V is expected. The Q3 is very hot itself!

Currently I removed the backup battery to reset memory, waiting for tomorrow.

That's all I currently have. Anybody had the same or have any ideas what to do? Thanks a lot!!!
