Hello I'm an owner of a PA600 but I mostly play piano, so I'm very tempted by the Havian but if I buy the Havian I will sell my PA for the use I do.
What are your experience with it, do you like the key action after sometime using it, do you like it in general? |

I have had the Havian for over a year and I like it very much. My daughter just plays the piano side of the keyboard and successfully plays all of Fur Elise without difficulty.
While I think the keyboard on the Yamaha CVP 705 has a better action - it feels lighter, the Havian action is fine, it is not triple sensored so a key has to rise a bit more before you can strike it again to get a sound. Without sound on, the keys are generally quiet to play, not as clunky and noisy as the Casio keyboards (eg. PX 560) which I tried recently and was disappointed at how noisy they were. My other daughter has a Kawai piano and she said the Havian keyboard felt pretty good.
I don't think the key action is as good as the Kawai digital pianos either. But the Havian's feel weighted and responsive and for its price quite acceptable. You really need to try them out yourself if possible but from my experience after a year of use I am quite happy with it. My daughter is learning piano and her piano teacher has a 'real' piano but she says she still prefers the feel of the Havian keys. |

I've only had it for a week and I like it. But I like the piano sound of my CVP 605 better. I still have to play with it some more like trying the different effects might be able to improve the piano sounds. Sold my PA 600 three days after I got the Havian 30. I think it also sounds better when playing the styles. _________________ Yamaha CVP 605, Korg PA700, Korg Havian 30 |
