I linked a brand new sq-1 to my monotribe 2.1 via cv, but it seems that, despite every configuration i try, sq-1 can only send (or monotribe can only receive) 1 note and only at a certain knob position. Am I missing something? or is my unit defective? MIDI works perfectly, usb too... |

Hi,
Well, the monotribe combines CV and Gate in one stereo mini jack plugged into the SyncIn.
The SQ-1 outputs the CV and Gate signals as separate outputs. So you need a converter cable that brings the 2 signals from the SQ-1 into one jack towards the monotribe.
I'm afraid you will need to solder a bit, but it should not be too hard. Get some inspiration here:
