Hi Guys
Anyone out there using the Max for Live Editor? Any feedback?

It is found here:

This post needs an answer.

I'm not using the pattern editor because the Korg updates (especially the newest one) create new files that will no longer work with the editor.

Xanadu. (a user here), stopped development because it was a lot of work. It would be great if someone could take over where Xandau left off and work with Brakio, who's been updating is awesome sample editor for the ES2 and make a supper editor that edits and organizes E2 and ES2 files. But we can only dream.

Coding for MaxForLive and the desktop app is not quite the same unfortunately and I'm not sure if this was even open sourced by Xanadu.

I haven't touched my electribe for a long time. I still have ancient firmware. I don't expect I will pick up this project. The software has no copyright. The software contains the source code. Anyone can pick up the project.

Hi, I'm considering working on an editor for the electribes if there's enough interest...

Would it be open source?

I was also considering making a pattern editor. My e2s sample editor has nearly only 40 users (considering the number of release's downloads) but a pattern editor would have more interest I think, as it can address both electribes.

whilst that would be wonderful there's alot of time and effort involved, so.... it will also use an engine developed for other products so I won't be releasing that code...
