Okay so the teaser korg posted to say that there is a new product could be the electribe because the way the lines are in order, the left being grey and blue, the synth models the right being red and black the sampler models, further more the outer colours being grey and black, the 1st gen models and the inner colours being blue and red, 2nd gen models.
But the gold line? That could be a hint to the next electribe colour, gold has been used before on the electribe, case and point es mk 2, but of course it isn't going to be another sampler, maybe something more?
But what about the texture overlay? well, that's just a korg staple texture, for example the same texture is used on the website to show that you have highlighted a window so it's probably not a clue to a product.
But it has the same colours as a poly six! However the poly six has 7 colours brown (wood) blue and black for the case and white, yellow, sand brown and red for the buttons, so why would korg only put red, blue, yellow, white and black and not include sand brown and brown as they are both also equally staple colours of the poly six?
Moreover which community has been relentlessly asking for a product to be fixed as well as having combined os's, yes the electribe community, we even sent a petition (shout out to cade for your brilliant work!).
And as an extra point the type face is the same as on the electribes (as well as all modern korg equipment, but it still could be a clue) if it was a poly six would they not use its typeface as a clue?
However I could be wrong but all evidence points to something electribe-y. _________________ Microkorg, Radias, Mininova, Electribe sampler, kaossilator pro+, kaosspad mini 2, Koassilator 2, monotron, monotron duo, monotron delay, DX100, 2x krk rokit 5, MDX2200, FX2222 |

Yeah I know I wasn't the first to think about it being an electribe teaser but I was giving out reasons why it could be a teaser for the electribe tryna back you up here _________________ Microkorg, Radias, Mininova, Electribe sampler, kaossilator pro+, kaosspad mini 2, Koassilator 2, monotron, monotron duo, monotron delay, DX100, 2x krk rokit 5, MDX2200, FX2222 |

Nobody in the thread over at Matrixsynth mentions electribes:
http://www.matrixsynth.com/2016/10/something-new-coming-from-korg-november.html
and there was a post an Matrixsynth (with reference to the teaser) with some fake-looking new volcas:
http://www.matrixsynth.com/2016/10/new-korg-volca-wave-wavetable-vc-1.html
nothing on sonic state about it either, but there was a mention in Nick's podcast: http://www.sonicstate.com/news/2016/10/27/podcast-sonic-talk-469-korgs-big-announcment/
And some people at Muff Wiggler think it's a new Polysix: https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=170484
but no really significant determinations
I guess we will find out tomorrow. _________________ My Gear:
