Does anyone have a Combi setup for this or can assist with suggestions for sounds and splits for a 61 key Kronos?
Thanks

I recorded a video right now showing how I do it. It's in portuguese but I show how I have split the keyboard etc. The A, B and C# I play in the left hand are transposed (to make it easier to play) and sound like C, D and E. There are probably better ways (and more like the original) to do this but in my band that's how I do it. I play the talkbox (samples) as the guitarrist doesn't have one. There's a velocity layer played by the right hand also and the intro chord is hold by the sustain pedal and has its volume increased by the expression pedal.

Wow! Very nice! Much better than what I have! Are those custom patches or did you use existing ones in the Knonos?

This is a good source to make sounds and perform batch keys correctly:

That sounds good! I wonder what program you use on 0:35 - 0:42? And where you took samples Talkboks? I myself collect combinations: I myself collect combinations (all Kronos sounds): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luk-7MR5uBI&index=16&list=PLfV6CWNDVmJFYTFAxv_52VIrKdhPv9lOz

I'll see what I can come up with and release it to this thread.

I have to program it anyway for a band I'm in, so why not share it with the great folks here Smile

Okay, here it is:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49099211/AUDORA-LIVINGPRAYER.PCG

The programs are in User DD, combi in User D and Setlist 000 has the slots in order for progressing through the song.

Here's a video that outlines the basics of how I laid the sounds out on the keyboard:

Let me know if you have any questions!

I just watched your video - Dude, that sounds amazing.

I love what you did with the samples and everything too - Any interest in sharing what you've done already? I'd like to combine what you've done with what I've done to try and get things sounding a little more authentic for playing live (depending on what the band does)

The one I released just now is 'studio accurate' but doesn't sound as good in a mix I don't think as yours does. I might have to revisit...!
