Has anyone found a way to go from 2.2 to 1.10 or 1.17 / 1.18?

At the moment there is now way to revert to older versions of the E2 and ES2 OS or Firmware.

This was done by Korg programmers in order to fight a hack that allowed E2 owners a way to dual boot their machines to either synth or sampler versions.

Has anyone seen this vid - it appears to show how to downgrade from 2.02 to 1.10 by labelling the 1.10 files to read 2.18.
