|
|
Hello.
Do the "Full" versions of the Kaossilators also exhibit the dreaded -7db volume drop that the mini KP's do?
I have enjoyed the simplicity of my Mini KP for about a year, but the volume issue has finally gotten to me.
I was thinking of getting a KP2 if it meets the following criteria:
1-No perceivable volume drop when plugged in between my BX16 line mixer and powered monitor speakers.
2-Somewhat comparable effects to the Mini KP. I don't need any drums or sampling etc. I am really only interested in the effects. Panning...flange...delay...bitcrusher...etc
Can anybody confirm?
Thank you very much,
Steve |

The volume is down to battery power. If it uses batteries for mobile use then there is a volume drop for that model.
You mix up terms for kaoscillator and kaoss pad.I assume you are after a KP2 .I don't think it uses batteries.
Btw effects change every time.I really love the effect on kpmini 2 ,but the kp3 is an excellent all rounder effect box.(my favorite). |

Thank you for the reply. You are correct, I should have stated "Kaoss Pad" and not mixed verbage.
Looks like I made the right choice. The KP2 should fit the bill. I really liked the Mini KP, but that volume loss was a real bummer, even with a power adapter.
Best of luck to you and thanks again,
Steve |
