|
|
Hello, is there a way to add more empty user sample banks?
I have a bunch of sample libraries including one called Club Revolution that has over 200 nki I want to add to Kronos but each user bank (user-cc etc) on Kronos only goes to 127.
If there is no way to add additional banks of 127 programs each, how do you guys go about using more samples than you have space for?
My Alesis Fusion allowed me to add numerous banks up to a point which is how I fit 1000 plus user samples on it so I guess the only way is to connect it to Kronos and record in sequencer as an audio track if Kronos can't add them all as programs.....
Please help |

quick answer is no. I have a Fusion as well, and the ability to just endlessly load programs and banks doesn't exist in the Kronos. It has a limit. A limit of 127 programs per bank and the limit of the iA-G, uA-G, and uAA-GG
There is a way around it though. If you have the actual multi-samples loaded (via KSC), you can browse through programs in file mode and just highlight the one you want to play and play that. The caveat is that there's no way to insert that into a song or combi (or play mulitimbrally). _________________ ::: Korg Kronos 88 ::: Alesis Fusion 8HD ::: Kurzweil PC361 ::: Roland V-Synth ::: DSI Prophet 12 ::: DSI OB-6 ::: Korg Prophecy ::: Moog Micromoog ::: Yamaha CP-30 ::: Alesis Andromeda ::: Moog Sub37 ::: Sequential Prophet 600 ::: Korg MS2000BR ::: GSI Burn :::

The idea is to use multiple PCG files and load files as you need them. _________________
