I'm not starting this thread as a general rant. I want Korg to make the software actually useful. As such it isn't much use except for loading the official presets in the mnlgpreset format.

Trouble is it can't create mnlgpreset files, and won't add presets from the mnlglib files it creates to the preset list, nor can it load sysex files. You can't select multiple presets from the preset list and drag them into the library window, nor can you drag presets from one library into another library.

It really isn't of much use at all and a general sysex librarian would do a better job except you can't load the mnlgpreset format. You have to load the mnlgpreset files into the Librarian, send them to your Minilogue, then export the sysex into your librarian of choice.

Please Korg, make the Librarian useful- add another Library window, allow presets to be added from the library files, add sysex support- just add functionality to make it useful, because it isn't atm Rolling Eyes

Be nice!

It isn't that bad. I was just playing with it yesterday with the 2 sounds packs that are available free online.

It loads sounds to the synth quick.

That being said, someone might reverse engineer it, or the SYSEX portion to make a more standardized editor, but software editing programs aren't terribly common like they once were. Sounddiver, Soundquest...

You can actually build your own editor with CTRLR, but it isn't easy to write the code to import/ export SYSEX.
