Okay, I've worked up a couple of good songs on the Volca Sample, and now I want to transfer them to computer so that I can free up the Korg and start on some new stuff. I can export the whole song to a session in my DAW as a single stereo track. But are there options? I'd love to be able to export each part individually so that I had more ability to mix the different parts. Is it doable? |

You can just track them in separately as audio, using mutes to keep the other tracks quiet during each recording pass. |

How do you line up the different parts correctly in the DAW? |

If you have MIDI out from your DAW into the Volcas, then this will also send the start/stop message when you start recording from the beginning of a bar on your DAW, so each track will start from beat 1 and therefore should be synchronised. |

No, I don't have those skills. Maybe I'll just get the balance as good as I can in the Volca and export the whole thing.
Thanks very much for explaining that - useful. |
