I do not know if this will work but you have nothing to lose.
Unplug your keyboard from the electric, on the backside of your keyboard the little black window and screw it off and take the battery out, leave the battery out for five minutes, then put the battery back in and then tried to install the newest operating system, the battery keeps the clock in the calendar running up-to-date but, by removing the battery you are now sure that the memory is empty with no old code hanging around or error.. Again I repeat you have nothing to lose please let us know if there's any change and what fix keyboard, and what country do you live in, thanks and good luck.. |

Did you install the SD chip with the unit plugged in? This was the symptom I got just before I could no longer see my SD chip because I installed the SD chip not knowing that power is active to the unit as long as the Pa4x is plugged in. No protection is offered for plug and play for the SD chip. It is meant to be installed and left in. Only the USB is plug and play.
I hope you haven't blown your SD socket like I did. But these symptoms are what I experienced just before the fatal moment.
I tried rebooting, changing OS versions, plugging in USB, unplugging USB, etc. I'm an Electonic Engineer, so I tried everything that my 50 years of experience told me to do. It wasn't until I removed the SD chip that the locking up stopped. _________________ Pa4x, Oasys 76, K2000, PC3K7, Montage 8, Pa5x |

I thought you said your Pa4x was locking up. You never said anything about a backup file.
But if you install the SD in the future make sure the unit is unplugged.

I have read in this forums a message from Mr Paolo @ Korg who solved this problem for another brother here but at the private message I wonder why we are all there, to share the help?
message :[quote="sduszyk"]Hello Everybody,
System Reset procedure (sent as private message from Paolo) worked fine in my case and now OS 1.1.1 is running properly.
Paolo - thanks for support |
