You don't want to add a second drive. You need to pull the old drive and replace it with an upgraded SSD that gives faster data speeds, lower operating temperature and gigabytes desired. If you add a second drive to avoid a fresh install? You will increase internal operating Temps which is something you want to avoid. Sharps video shows a fan that is right against the SSD because of the heat they can generate. It's been proven many times how a better quality SSD can improve booting and streaming large samples. If you have a problem with your Kronos during the warranty period? Slap the old drive back in and get it repaired. Nothing to cut, add or reroute when you replace and there are no seals that indicates the opening that would void the warranty.

Think about it. If you take your keyboard to a repair center. They are a business and want to make money. They don't care if you opened the Kronos. They don't investigate. My local repair guys milk manufacturers on purpose. Lol moooooooooooo

The increase in boot speed from a faster SSD is noticeable, but hardly crucial. Replacing the primary SSD is a lot more involved than simply hooking up a second one.
