Hi everyone, what are the correct steps for loading PCG's and UserBank.KSC's between two keyboards? I have an 88 and a 61 and I need them to be a "copy" of each other, now and with future work files that will need to be added (except for the EXs 18 ). The 61 doesnt have the EXs18.
At the moment they share the same files, but when I load PCG and UserBank.KSC from 88 to the 61, my custom samples are not in place. Please help.

Do they have the same Autoload setup? Global mode, i think should be included in PCG load.
Look at the autoload setups in global to see if they correspond because that determines what sample libraries load. I have a sample options grayed out from "add KSC". Not sure if it's because it detects no samples which i do not have on current .PCG. Or maybe something else?
Disk mode loading has the drop down menu at top right corner and that has the option to select "Load PCG(RAM) and samples". Seems more than just the basic load commands from the bottom of the screen. Never tried it myself.
You can open your disk file up to the actual samples you want to load and do a load Selected. Maybe that will work.
If the samples are tied to programs, when you try to play the program you may get a prompt saying the samples are not there and also the option to load required samples.
Thats is all i have, not sure if there is something i am missing. |
