Hi, I am in the market for a very simple audio interface for using it with Ableton Live 9 and Cubase 9 but it has to have really nice DAC section so I can use it as USB DAC as well in my hi-fi system. I am perfectly fine with only 1 pair of line ins but am not sure if DS-DAC-10R can be used as a DAW interface at all and if the latency will be tolerable. Any users?

Earlier versions of DSD products and AudioGate supported only 1-bit recording. But I see in the blurb for this latest release that PCM recording is also supported. So theoretically, the answer is Yes, you should be able to use it with Cubase. But I can't speak from personal experience.
